Usually 95% or more of
all radio defects show up within the first 30 days of use if not within the
first couple of minutes. The vast majority of failures are often caused by someone
without proper training trying to repair or modify it themselves. I have setup
and repaired two-way radio equipment for well over thirty years. I am sure you must be
interested in quality performing equipment. So am I!
I don't like to fool around with butchered up equipment and I don't expect a customer to put up with it. Life is too short to play games with radio equipment.
As you know, radios ARE NOT designed by some wanna-be tech with a fist full of parts in his basement or garage. Your local technician may be qualified to repair your equipment or maybe not! Remember, your local "technician" doesn't know more than a radio manufacturer with plenty of money and thousands of hours of qualified engineering experience behind him. Quick little tricks done by a lot of so called "technicians" are really just designed to fill their pockets with your hard earned money so be careful! Many modifications or so called "performance mods" are detrimental to the life of radio equipment. Usually they cause more interference and problems in the long run. If that handful of parts he wants to ad to your radio were really anything worthwhile, the manufacturer would have put them in there in the first place!
In Other Words:
Do you want your
radio to be right the first time and perform great for many years to come?
Have it Done Right the
First Time! Keep everyone hands out of it! You can go from town to town and
always find someone who will tell you they can make it talk better. They really
just want a piece of your pocket book! I don't want any needless headaches and
aggravation and I am sure you don't either. Thank you for clicking this link
